Founded by Misbah Ashraf, former founder of community-focused e-commerce platform Marsplay, and Nishchay AG, former director and founding member at mobility start-up Bounce, Jar's unwavering mission is to shatter psychological barriers to saving and investing, thus spearheading the Financial Fitness revolution for Bharat.

Nek is an affordable luxury jewellery brand that is powered by Jar. It is the culmination of what we know best; affordability, the value of gold and crafting incredible connections. Nek's wide collection of silver and gold jewellery is made with meticulous artisanship to celebrate you and find the magic in every occasion.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete P&L for the Jewelry category.
- Work with multiple stakeholders—internal and external—to drive and grow the business.
- Curate a diverse range of products aligned with strategy and customer needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive offerings.
- Maintain a balanced and profitable product assortment.
- Ensure timely deliveries and uphold high-quality standards while managing demand forecasting proactively.
- Forecast, monitor, and coordinate with the supply team for optimal inventory availability and minimize excess.
- Analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions and manage slow-moving inventory.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on promotional strategies to enhance visibility and drive sales.
- Coordinate with merchandising for effective product placement.
- Adopt a customer-centric approach in buying decisions and use feedback to refine the product assortment.
- Ensure high standards of quality and satisfaction for all products.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven success in product selection, supplier negotiations, and business growth.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of category trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to take ownership in challenging situations.
