Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team at the group level to
spearhead our internal communications and employee engagement initiatives. This role is critical in
ensuring effective communication flow, enhancing employee engagement through strategic events, and
building a cohesive culture across all Ola offices. The ideal candidate will possess a full stack of
communication skills from copywriting, editing, coordination, to video recording, and demonstrate
exceptional leadership and ownership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communication Management:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging
messaging across all channels including mailers, Slack, and physical collateral.
- Manage the annual internal communications calendar, aligning with company milestones, cultural
celebrations, and HR initiatives.
- Craft compelling content for a variety of internal platforms to inform, engage, and motivate employees.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Produce high-quality, engaging content for internal communication channels, including writing and
editing newsletters, announcements, and executive messages.
- Manage the production of video content for internal events, announcements, and other communication
needs, ensuring professional quality and alignment with messaging goals for internal distribution,
including interviews, event highlights, and informational videos.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between the marketing, communications and HR team and other departments across
all Ola offices, ensuring cohesive and coordinated communication efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on communication best practices
and standards.
- Event Management & Employee Engagement:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement events and initiatives,
ensuring alignment with Ola’s culture and values.
- Collaborate with various teams to create innovative event concepts and themes that enhance employee
interaction and satisfaction.
- Leadership & Development:
- Lead the internal communications vertical from execution to management, demonstrating leadership,
ownership, and strategic vision.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous
improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven 2-4 experience in internal communications, content creation, and event management.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a track record of managing successful internal
communication strategies and events.
- Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and execute engaging communication and event ideas.
- Proficiency in video production and editing tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
