We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our US-based team. You will provide proactive sourcing and full-lifecycle recruitment for our R&D and Product Management teams, supporting roles like DevOps Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Data Scientists.
What you’ll do for us
- Provide full life-cycle recruiting for our R&D and Product teams
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines by employing multiple proactive sourcing strategies
- Manage candidates efficiently and effectively through the recruiting process to include: technical assessments, immigration intakes and hiring team interviews
- Provide thorough, proactive, and transparent communication and excellent customer service to key stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
- Establish collaborative, customer-focused relationships with hiring managers and teams, and provide recommendations and best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process
- Ensure compliance with internal o9 Solutions policies and employment laws covering recruiting and hiring practices
- Work closely with o9 immigration on candidates who require immigration support in the hiring and offer process
- Understand the o9 business model, organization, strategy, and drivers, impart your knowledge of the supply chain industry in your conversations with candidates
- Exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, discretion, and creativity to changing needs and situations
- Serve as a brand ambassador for o9 Solutions ensuring candidates are engaged with and motivated by opportunities at o9
What you’ll have
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Technical Recruiting Expertise
- Strong understanding of R&D, Data Science, and Product Management functions, including common technologies, methodologies, and industry trends
- Experience sourcing and engaging technical talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Kaggle, AI communities, and other specialized platforms
- Ability to assess technical resumes and collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Expertise in full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing) for high-growth tech startups
- Data-driven approach to tracking key hiring metrics (time-to-hire, source effectiveness, DEI initiatives, etc.)
- Proficiency in structured interviewing techniques and competency-based assessments
- Ability to create and execute hiring strategies for competitive talent markets
Stakeholder & Candidate Management
- Strong business acumen to align hiring strategies with company growth goals
- Ability to partner with hiring managers, leadership, and HR to define talent needs and improve processes
- Excellent candidate experience skills, ensuring engagement throughout the hiring process
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, particularly for high-demand tech talent
Tools & Systems Proficiency
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Workday
- Familiarity with AI-driven sourcing tools and recruitment automation
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets to analyze recruiting data
Additional Considerations
- Experience hiring for startups and navigating scaling challenges
- Knowledge of employment branding to attract passive candidates
- Understanding of immigration/work authorization processes
