Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager is a strategic management role responsible for overseeing the full recruitment function across both corporate and field hiring. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this position leads a department of Team Leaders, Recruiters, and supporting TA professionals, ensuring scalable, high-impact recruitment strategies are effectively executed to meet the organization’s evolving talent needs.
The TA Manager drives performance, accountability, and alignment across the Talent Acquisition team through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and close partnership with business and HR stakeholders. In addition to managing recruitment strategy and leading the TA team, the TA Manager may also personally lead the recruitment and onboarding of senior-level or high-impact roles when appropriate. This role champions innovative sourcing strategies, fosters operational excellence, and continuously optimizes talent acquisition processes to support both corporate and field hiring success.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Team Leaders and supporting recruiting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Own and drive the corporate and field recruitment strategy, ensuring alignment with workforce plans, organizational priorities, and long-term talent goals.
- Support and guide Team Leaders in delivering best-in-class full-cycle recruiting services across their territories, providing coaching, resources, and oversight to elevate performance.
- Establish, monitor, and optimize recruiting KPIs across all functions, leveraging data to identify trends, remove barriers, and improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and overall pipeline health.
- Partner with HR and business leadership to proactively forecast hiring needs and build integrated talent acquisition plans that align with both immediate staffing demands and strategic workforce objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce friction, and elevate both the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Oversee implementation and adoption of new systems, tools, and workflows, ensuring consistency, compliance, and integration with organizational processes.
- Provide strategic reporting and insights to executive leadership, using data to influence decision-making, highlight challenges, and propose innovative recruitment solutions.
- Collaborate with TA Operations to ensure recruitment systems and workflows (including ATS usage) support speed, scalability, and data integrity.
- Serve as a thought partner to senior HR and business leaders on evolving talent strategies, labor market dynamics, and organizational design implications.
- Personally lead the recruitment of senior-level or strategic positions when necessary, ensuring top-tier talent is secured for critical roles.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture that aligns with company values and drives continuous progress toward TA goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferred majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related fields).
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume, fast-paced, or complex hiring environments.
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting leadership experience, including direct supervision of recruiters and/or recruiting leaders with a demonstrated ability to drive performance and build scalable processes.
- Proven success designing and executing recruitment strategies across multiple geographies, job families, and organizational levels, including both corporate and field roles.
- Strong track record of owning and improving recruiting KPIs, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate experience, and recruiter productivity.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms, reporting tools, and data governance, with the ability to produce actionable insights and inform data-driven decision-making.
- Skilled in strategic workforce planning, business case development, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence, align cross-functional partners, and lead through change.
