Our client, a globally recognised international sports organisation, is seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join their New York-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of sports and business, shaping HR strategies that drive high performance and foster a positive workplace culture in a fast-paced, international environment whilst providing a high quality and responsive service to a broad range of internal partners and mission critical functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic HR guidance to align people initiatives with business objectives and execute all people related matters with pace, purpose, and integrity.
- Partner with internal departments to implement talent management, leadership development, and workforce planning strategies.
- Drive employee engagement and organisational culture initiatives that support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Lead performance management processes, on behalf and in conjunction with senior managers and leaders providing coaching and development support to managers and employees.
- Oversee the implementation of HR policies, compliance, and best practices, ensuring alignment with global HR standards.
- Support a range of high priority change management initiatives, including organisational design, and workforce transformation projects.
Key requirements include:
- Ideally a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5+ years of HR experience, ideally within the sports, entertainment, or global corporate sector.
- Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in organisational development, talent strategy, and change management.
- Knowledge of US employment law and global HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an international or matrixed organisation is a plus.
