How will you make an impact in this role?The Global Campus Recruitment Team is responsible for developing and executing campus recruitment strategies for American Express. These strategies include enhancing the prospective and full-time student experience and partnering with senior business leaders and Human Resources to attract and retain the best talent for American Express.
The U.S. Campus Recruiting Analyst will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with talent pools and managing the campus recruitment and selection process for those potential candidates. This person will support recruiting activities, programs and events and promote the American Express brand and on-campus opportunities. They will also manage and coordinate project work streams across various markets/stakeholders on key initiativesincluding our American Express Discovery Program.
Responsibilities include:
Manages and supports multiple projects and initiatives across participating businesses.
Create analysis and reports to support decisions on day-to-day operations to devise strategic planning and improve efficiencies.
Determine market factors and external landscape to shape project strategy and standard methodologies (research, data, industry benchmarks etc.).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners to collaborate on recruitment strategy and execution.
Manage and coordinate project work streams across various markets/stakeholders, including tracking key activities and milestones, managing deliverables to deadlines, integrating activities across work-streams, and surfacing project risks and concerns as appropriate
Supports Manager to create key presentations used in communications to business stakeholders
Support Recruitment Manager on delivering projects and programs such as talent attraction campaigns, reviews of the selection process and ATS to maximize effectiveness and efficiencies.
Lead and coordinate participation with internal Amex teams on recruitment activities and early talent programs.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelors degree required
- You must have the ability to travel up to 25% or work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills to enable communication and analysis
- Strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with flawless attention to detail is essentia
- Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence colleagues, challenge the status quo, and confront difficult issues
- Desire to learn across the spectrum of the different markets within the region
- Ability to synthesize information and data, then communicate it concisely in conversations, presentations and organizational communications
- Ability to create compelling presentations, backed with facts and data to build out long-term vision and sell in new strategic initiatives
- Ability to think strategically, and flex between a big picture view and detailed execution
- Experience with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as Taleo, Eightfold, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or others preferred.
Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
