Due to continuous growth & demand, we are seeking a highly motivated HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our national HR team, with the preferred location for this position to be based in our vibrant Melbourne office.

You will play a pivotal role ensuring the HR & Recruitment function runs smoothly, creating a first-class experience for candidates, employees, and our internal stakeholders alike.
TEAM:
Kennedys HR team supports the firm with all people-related matters across Business Partnering, Diversity & Inclusion, CSR, Learning & Development, Operations, and Recruitment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide hands-on administrative support to the HR & Recruitment departments on a day-to-day basis
- Act as first point of contact for all general HR & Recruitment enquiries, ensuring timely responses to requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Primarily responsible for end-to-end recruitment for casual employees and graduates
- Utilise recruitment platforms (such as SEEK, Indeed, and LinkedIn) to advertise positions and source potential candidates on a national scale
- Develop strong internal relationships with Hiring Managers by regularly holding service reviews and creating business plans to anticipate workforce planning needs or skill gaps
- Work closely with the Recruitment Business Partner to manage the graduate program from start-to-finish by advertising, reviewing & scoring applications, shortlisting, collating feedback, and supporting rotations ensuring supervision/mentorship is maintained effectively
- Be the main point of contact for external and internal enquiries pertaining to the graduate program and monitor the inbox
- Phone screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and liaising with key stakeholders on selection criteria, collating feedback and administrative support
- Managing the ATS and ensuring it is accurate for candidate tracking & reporting activities
- Working with the HR Coordinator to maintain pre-employment checks and initiate new joiner records
- Working with the HR Coordinator to ensure all new joiners are onboarded in a timely manner and receive a first-class candidate experience
- Providing temporary assistance with recruitment in the wider APAC region, where required
- Ad-hoc HR & Recruitment project work, including actively running the annual graduate program
- Fully embrace the principles of diversity across all recruitment processes
- Assist in HR cyclical tasks as required, e.g., salary reviews, benchmarking, promotion processes, budget reviews
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous HR or Recruitment administration experience is essential - ideally within the legal or professional services space
- Experience running a graduate program (or similar) would be highly advantageous
- Technically savvy with previous experience using an ATS or HR system to manage candidate and/or employee records
- A confident communicator with the demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- A legal or HR related qualification would be highly advantageous but is not essential
- A quick learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organised and methodical, capable of prioritising & managing multiple roles at any one time
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a natural flair for communication
- A supportive team player who enjoys being part of a wider HR & Recruitment function
