We are currently looking for an experienced, people-focused professional to join our Australian team as a People & Culture Lead. Reporting initially to the CEO, you will bring a strong background as an HR practitioner and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As the stand-alone member of the People & Culture team in Australia, your role will involve offering guidance to the senior leadership team while actively supporting the Australian team with HR inquiries, policies, procedures, and people-focused initiatives.
With expertise in the full team member lifecycle, you will empower managers to effectively support, engage, and develop their teams.
We're seeking someone who is hands-on and proactive—someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and make things happen. In this dynamic environment, you’ll need to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a keen attention to detail.
Your Experience & Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Experience as a HR leader with strong HR generalist skills including demonstrated knowledge of Australian ER/IR laws and practices.
- Be passionate about performance both management and improvement, outcome focused and able to take ownership for results.
- Able to demonstrate a positive and proactive Can-Do style, that is honest and collaborative through communication and decision-making.
- Operational ability to ensure that the transactional aspects of HR are well executed in a business that is fast-moving.
- Able to work on various projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- A team member champion and change agent by anticipating people-related needs and delivering value-added services for the benefit of team members and the business.
