We are growing and are looking for a talented and driven P&C Manager to join our team.
About The Role
As a pivotal member of our People & Culture team, the People & Culture Manager will drive business outcomes through robust operational leadership with a strategic lens.
Reporting to the GM, People, Culture & Safety, this is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, offering the flexibility of hybrid working two days per week in our Melbourne office.
Key Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Developing and enhancing systems, procedures, and people initiatives with a strong partnering and codesign lens in alignment with SANE’s strategic objectives
- Overseeing performance and remuneration frameworks and ensuring compliance with all legal obligations.
- Establishing ER frameworks supporting a positive workplace culture with psychosocial safety central in handling grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Overseeing the development and currency of People & Culture policies and procedures in line with compliance and good practice across the organisation.
- Developing and implementing strategies to build leadership capabilities and staff engagement and promote a safe and inclusive culture
About You
Key to your success in this role would be tertiary qualifications in HR or related qualifications and/or relevant experience, ideally in small to medium sized organisations. While NFP & mental health sector experience is not essential, it would be beneficial.
You have experience in developing, implementing & embedding P&C frameworks and initiatives within complex service delivery environments with a strong partnering approach. Knowledge and interpretation of current employment legislation and Modern Awards (Social, Community, Home Care, Disability Services Industry [SCHCADS] & Health Professionals & Support Services [HPSS]) would be key, as well as experience navigating ER matters, balancing sound judgement with specialist advice and empathy.
You have proven generalist HR capabilities and experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, are proactive and professional in approach with good written and spoken communication skills. You are organised, with a thoughtful business partnering approach and aware of the current intersecting Safety Legislation with HR.
You are people centric, hands on in style, and able to move from operational to strategic as needed. You enjoy a data driven approach to impact positive outcomes and are happy being part of a small and motivated team to influence and embed change across the organisation.
