INTERNATIONAL HEAD OF PEOPLE (Full-Time / Amsterdam)
RETAILORS, a subsidiary of Fox Group, is a leading retailer in the sports and athleisure sector. As a global partner of NIKE, they operate stores in Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel. Due to rapid growth in Europe, they are looking for an experienced Head of People / HR Manager to lead and expand the HR team for Europe.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Team Management & Development: Manage, coach, and further build a dynamic HR team of HR Business Partners and Officers (7+ FTE).
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding compensation, benefits, and corporate governance.
- Comp & Ben: Advise senior management on compensation and benefits, aligning them with business objectives.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide insights through KPI analysis and HR reporting to support business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Finance and regional HR teams to drive HR initiatives and improve country-level performance.
- Retail Partnership: Develop HR strategies to support retail objectives, including workforce planning and talent management.
- Leadership Development: Oversee succession planning and talent management to ensure future organizational success.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of HR experience with strong HR business partnering in (store) retail, preferably in an international environment.
- Retail Expertise: Deep understanding of retail operations and HR challenges within the sector is a MUST (!).
- Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to drive change in a global organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS and data analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Legal Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Vision: Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions.
- Context: Experience in international scale-up organizations is a significant advantage.
- Languages: Fluent Dutch and strong knowledge of local labor laws are mandatory (!).
- Communication: Ability to think strategically and communicate at the C-level while maintaining oversight of growing HR operations.

Salary: 95-115k + 2ndary benefits
