We seek an EU-based Director of Talent Acquisition for our Recruiting Chapter. This strategic leader will act as both a system architect for scalable recruitment practices and a consultant translating business objectives into impactful HR initiatives.
As a strategy- and process-focused Talent Acquisition Champion, you will design and implement active sourcing and employer branding strategies and scalable hiring processes, leveraging AI-powered solutions to attract top global talent efficiently. Using our Bar Raising methodology, you will forecast hiring needs, build robust talent pipelines, and lead a team of recruiters and partners to achieve high-quality hiring goals at scale. This role is a central interface, collaborating with business leaders and hiring managers across the organization to align talent acquisition with strategic objectives. Reporting to the CHRO, you will play a critical part in enhancing the quality of hires as a key driver of the company’s success.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Talent Strategy Leadership: Develop and execute a best-in-class recruitment framework, including active sourcing, talent pipelines, and predictive hiring assessments.
- Global Recruitment Standards: Drive consistent and scalable hiring practices to support exceptional candidate experiences and ensure Bar Raising standards.
- Employer Branding: Design and implement strategies that enhance our global employer brand and attract top talent.
- Tech-Driven Innovation: Leverage AI-powered solutions and recruitment analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Leadership & Team Management: Build and inspire a cross-location talent acquisition team, fostering productivity and innovation.
- End-to-End Top Management Hiring: Personally manage/monitor Exec-Level recruitment with full accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine processes, enhance outcomes, and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.

- Proven track record in senior Talent Acquisition leadership, ideally within Tech or Sales in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in system-based full-cycle recruiting and employer branding.
- Strong experience with ATS systems, sourcing techniques, and HR databases.
- Analytical Expertise: Skilled in numerical reasoning and leveraging recruitment metrics dashboards to extract insights, draw actionable conclusions, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Process Automation: Experienced in enhancing and scaling automated recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with high-quality hiring standards.
- Leadership Strength: Inspirational and motivational leader, capable of driving a team across multiple locations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercial Mindset: Ability to align HR strategies with business outcomes.
- Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written).

After 12 months, the quality of hire has improved, with every hire meeting Bar Raising standards and enhancing performance. A scalable, automated recruitment process reduces friction, while a strengthened employer brand attracts top talent and supports proactive pipeline management.

Location, Mobility, Incentive:
In general, the position is assigned to the company headquarters in Cologne and can be agreed as any location in Europe. Important is the willingness to travel and mobility. The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include a multi-year bonus (LTI).
