Join our Global Employer Branding Team as an Employer Branding Specialist!
In a nutshell, as an Employee Branding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our employer brand to attract top talent and engage current employees. This is an operational role focused on supporting colleagues across the team to ensure the seamless execution of projects and the creation of compelling content.
The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset, contributing to the success of our employer branding initiatives.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Operational Support
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of employer branding projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with team goals.
Project Coordination and stakeholder management
- Own and deliver projects and tasks directly impacting wider Employer Branding initiatives and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and support team members to achieve objectives effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, marketing, and communications, to execute branding initiatives.
- Conduct regular project evaluations and report on key metrics to assess effectiveness and impact.
Brand Representation
- Act as a brand guard to ensure that all external communications reflect Zalando’s values and culture.
Content creation and management
- Manage and implement a community engagement strategy to foster a strong and active community across our social media platforms.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to make an impact on our reputation using data from reputation management platforms.
- Monitor and respond to community comments and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our community engagement strategy remains relevant and effective.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Employer Branding, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications, employer branding, recruitment marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.
- Creative thinking and the ability to produce engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have experience using AI tools, such as Gemini.
