We are now seeking a visionary professional to serve as the caretaker of our brand while playing a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening it for the future. This role encompasses ideation, concept development, curation, and strategic facilitation.

For this role you must be based in Berlin. Full time (35-38 hrs / week).

Your mission
- Double down on brand and leverage the benefits of Standert being an underdog; continue pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.
- In your role, you will develop and execute the brand communication strategies and concepts for Standert together with the whole marketing team.
- As part of the marketing team you will work closely with our Brand Activation & Partnerships, PR, E-Commerce and Sales teams to ensure an integrated communication strategy across all brand and media channels.
- You and your team will need to create and discover new ways to connect with our current and potential audiences.
- You manage the creative concepts and we’re happy to support you. We’re a bunch with many ideas, it will be part of your role to evaluate and integrate these, while coming up with your own of course.
- You understand the complete journey from idea to production and know how to manage it. You get when there is a place for creativity and when it’s time for focus and precision.
- This position reports directly to the marketing director.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in brand management, content strategy or similar roles, specialising in consumer brands, preferably within the cycling, sport or lifestyle sector or you have a strong understanding of the premium lifestyle and/ or cycling market and its opportunities.
- You’re comfortable with research and creative about qualitative and quantitative methods. You know how to find information about our audience.
- You excel at planning and storytelling, bringing everything that the brand stands for to life.
- You’re a team player who values strong opinions, constructive debate, and the importance of moving forward together.
- You contribute to discussions with your experience, passion, and expertise, but not with your ego.
- You’re an excellent project manager and have an organised way of working. You’re not expected to know all the answers but to take ownership, define project roles, know your timing and deliverables.
- You have experience in crafting and communicating brand values and content that resonate with audiences.
- You stay up to date on trends, new, innovative media activations, ideas, social media formats and platforms that would appeal to our community and potential audience.
- You know how to integrate short-term sales campaigns and product marketing measures without sacrificing brand equity.
- You have a clear and simple communication style, so that you can align cross-functional teams around a unified vision or goal.
Your Responsibilities
Strategy development:
- Help define and implement a clear and distinct brand strategy that aligns with Standert’s vision and mission.
- Observe and evaluate market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities in order to improve Standert’s positioning. Know when it’s time to evolve based on new information.
- Help create the strategy of owned media channels, including social (e.g. Instagram, Strava, LinkedIn, etc.), parts of the website (e.g. Journal) and maybe new, emerging channels and its execution.
Brand Consistency
- Safeguard the brand by ensuring alignment in messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all channels.
Creative Concepts
- Come up, curate and facilitate creative ideas.
- Create stories and narratives that entertain our audience while showcasing our brand and products.
- Investigate, invent, and pursue new tactics for new audience reach.
Campaign Planning
- Lead the planning and execution of campaigns, product shootings, running a wide variety of content pieces, campaigns and product releases.
Content Creation And Production
- Own Standert’s communication calendar and content planning process that ensures appropriate timing, alignment to important moments (e.g. new product releases, partnership opportunities).
- Oversee and manage the production of engaging content for digital platforms (video campaigns, photoshoots and editorial content) and creative assets that reflect Standert's unique character. Leverage social media and other sources of content (ambassadors, cycling teams and sponsoring amongst others) to build a strong online presence, create buzz, and foster customer loyalty.
- Guide team members and freelancers in producing cohesive, impactful content and campaigns that align with the brand’s values
- Be in touch with other teams in order to leverage various product or marketing activities, collaborations and testimonials (Team Standert, ambassadors, Community Connect, etc.).
Performance Management
- Set up a set of KPIs and use them to evaluate performance and inform decisions.
- Oversee and mentor a small team in executing a communication strategy and creating content that resonates.
- Keep track of the brand budget and ensure alignment with business goals and the overall marketing strategy.
Stakeholder Management
- Proactively engage and collaborate with other teams and management at the right moments. We’re eager to hear about your plans, projects, and progress.
