Role Summary
The Content Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing all content-related activities at 1GLOBAL, leading a dynamic team of talented Content Writers who serve the company on a global scale.
This role demands a fluent English-speaking professional with a strong background in telecommunications and product/technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders across 1GLOBAL's key verticals: compliance, IoT, and enterprise, to ensure content is strategic, impactful, and aligned with business goals.
As a hands-on leader, the Content Manager will craft content strategies, ensure impeccable quality, and streamline workflows to deliver high-impact materials that resonate with audiences and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-channel content roadmap in alignment with business goals
- Organise and prioritise content initiatives to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and stakeholder communications
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Content Writers to achieve high-quality outputs
- Foster collaboration within the team and across departments
Content Development & Quality Control:
- Review, edit, and approve content to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines
- Maintain high-quality standards in tone, messaging, and accuracy
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and marketing teams, to align content with broader company objectives
- Collaborate across 1GLOBAL's core verticals: compliance, IoT, and enterprise, to ensure tailored and effective content delivery
Process Optimisation & Tools Management:
- Establish workflows and processes for efficient content creation and delivery
- Organise content repositories and ensure all materials are easily accessible and up to date
Insights & Innovation:
- Monitor industry trends and insights to keep 1GLOBAL's content fresh and relevant
- Propose creative content ideas tailored to the telecommunications space
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content management, writing, editing, and proofreading in English
- Deep understanding of the Telco industry and strong technical/product knowledge
- Proven track record of B2B content management experience
- Proven experience managing and mentoring content teams
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Proficiency in using content management systems and project planning tools
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
- A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of initiative
- Master degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
