About the Job
As People Manager at JUNA, you will be in charge of the full People Timeline of our employees and the organization. You will bring our HR activities to the next level by designing and introducing procedures and standards for the whole employee life cycle. Beside that you will be in charge of the daily people operations and act as business partner for our team members.
As Culture Manager, you will be in charge to keep our nice, cosy office at Oranienstraße up and running and keep improving it to make it the place to be for yourself and the employees.
Key Responsbilities
People Operations & HR Management:
- Set up, automate, and optimize workflows using our HRIS tool Kenjo while ensuring HR-related documents comply with labor laws and standards.
- Provide comprehensive support to employees throughout their lifecycle, including preparing monthly payroll and coordinating with external payroll partners.
- Advise the Leadership team on labor laws, best practices, and HR-related matters.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Manage and drive hiring pipelines, conduct direct searches, and approach candidates for open positions.
- Support hiring managers in recruitment processes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates for culture fit.
Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted contact for employees, conducting feedback sessions, resolving conflicts, and presenting insights to the Leadership team.
- Foster a positive work environment by identifying areas for improvement and promoting team cohesion.
Office & Business Support:
- Oversee office management, including supplier coordination, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and identifying improvements in the workspace.
- Organize team events and optimize operational spending by sourcing the best providers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a HR Generalist in at least two of the topics above.
- Service oriented mindset
- Experience in maintaining a HRIS
- First experience in working directly with employees and line managers
- Professional English language skills and conversational German language skills
- The desire to grow with us in terms of size as well as in the variety of tasks and responsibilities
- Background or education in hospitality industry is a plus (HoFa)
