About the Role - We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead our human resources department in Shanghai (around 70 employees). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, overseeing HR administration tasks, and ensuring compliance with Chinese labor laws.
Job responsibilities -
HR Admin and Compliance :
o Payroll and tax reporting.
o Ensure company procedures comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
HR Strategy Development :
o Review existing policies and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement enhanced policies and procedures.
o Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
o Collaborate with department heads to ensure the continuous development of leadership, technical, and soft skills within their teams.
Performance Management :
o Lead yearly performance appraisal process and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
o Provide advice to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
