Our in-house team of 120+ Mobile Technicians and large third-party network provides expansive coverage for all vehicle and trailer configurations. The breadth and depth of our network ensures we have the capacity, capability and geographical reach to maintain, recover, and carry out all maintenance and repair elements associated with running a commercial vehicle fleet.
The role of Network QC Manger has national responsibility for ensuring that all work carried out by 3rd party suppliers as well as our in-house Mobile Technician team meets the DVSA standards of roadworthiness and meeting the high standards we expect for our customers. You'll collaborate with the wider Network Team to implement procedures, systems, and standards of operation to improve our service. Investigations will need to be carried out along with conclusions, recommendations, and implementation of any findings. You will also be responsible for carrying out audits on both 3rd party suppliers, and MSU to ensure correct facilities and standards of operation are met.
The role will report into the National Senior Network Manager and a large amount of travel will be required due to national coverage of our client base.
What you'll be doing
- On site Mobile Technician trailer technician QC checks
- On site Mobile Technician LCV technician QC checks
- 3rd party supplier QC Checks
- 3rd party supplier audits in the South-West & Wales area
- Mobile Technician audits across the South-West & Wales area
- Investigating causes of quality problems and proposing solutions and training
- Implementation of new procedures
- Utilising extensive knowledge of products inner working to diagnose problems.
- Continuing education on newly developing quality control techniques.
- Completing all training required to carry out the roll efficiently.
What You'll bring
- Must be a qualified and highly experienced HGV Technician
- Experience of carrying out investigations
- Experience of leading audits
- Great attention to detail and passion for doing things right first time
- Self-starter, who confident in making decisions independently
- Comfortable with travel UK.
