Reporting to the Creative Director, the Creative Project Manager acts as the lead liaison between our clients, the creative team, and the rest of the agency. This position is responsible for executing a wide variety of small to large projects from concept through delivery while ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience working on multifaceted projects with cross-functional teams, the ability to manage multiple deliverables at the same time with competing deadlines, and possesses a key attention to detail to ensure complete accuracy.
Areas Of Responsibilities
- Own all phases of creative projects with little to no oversight and acts as gatekeeper to all production activities. That includes building estimates, preparing project proposals, briefing team members, tracking progress against schedules, providing feedback as necessary, leading all client communications, and overseeing final delivery.
- Develop accurate scopes and manage budgets to ensure all deliverables are delivered on time and on budget.
- Hold team members accountable to their tasks and process responsibilities.
- Demonstrates expertise in estimating budgets to achieve profitable margins.
- Independently manages end-of-month billing processes.
- Oversees our user generated content platform, effectively managing a high volume of video content with precision and efficiency.
- Facilitate efficient team status meetings and prepare daily team priorities.
- Highly organized and ensures that all client and team assets are easily accessible in a central location while following standard operating procedures.
- Update internal documentation on client guidelines, workflows, platform specs, ad format best practices, and other related items as needed.
- Lead internal team members to foster collaborative and motivating relationships.
- Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving when project timing and/or resources are overloaded.
- Expected to be a problem solver with a flexible mindset who can resolve issues and minimize bottlenecks to keep team focused on goals.
- Comfortable working independently with ambiguity to lead discovery sessions and pull necessary details from clients.
- Flawless QA of work prior to production or presentation, including revisions.
- Manage project forecasting and proactively address resourcing needs to the Creative Director.
- Vet, interview, train, oversee and manage contractors (if applicable).
- Maintain a deep knowledge of all client brand guidelines, project history, and what has/hasn’t performed.
- Nurture the client relationship and ensures client satisfaction with performance and service. Can not only communicate clearly, but can listen effectively.
- Cultivate the client relationship and actively builds trust and camaraderie with client through the team’s thought leadership, strategy, and deliverables.
- Proactively identifies upsell opportunities and works with media team, where applicable, to deliver opportunities to clients.
- Partner with the Creative Director on business development opportunities, demonstrating solid knowledge and understanding of the pitch process.
- Nice to have: Previous experience working in a creative department, with knowledge of handling fully integrated campaigns and managing high-volume production assets.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years of project management experience (ideally in an agency environment)
- Strong knowledge of common creative, PM and, communication software like Asana, Teams, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Proven record of successfully executing creative projects including social, display, programmatic, SEO, digital marketplace, photo/video shoots, and web design.
Salary: $60,000 to $77,500 plus Quarterly Bonus Structure based on Team Growth
Wage differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience.
