We are seeking a dynamic Head of People, Talent & Culture to join our team and lead the company’s human resources strategic vision to create an industry-leading environment for our employees.
Role Description
Reporting directly to the CEO at AZDS, and a key member of the company’s executive leadership team, you will lead the people, talent and culture initiatives as well as directly manage the Human Resources division at AZDS.
This role will be responsible for creating the strategy to attract the highest levels of talent to the organization, and create programming to coach, develop and retain our existing team members to reach their fullest potential.
In addition, this role will be responsible for building and standardizing people management processes, capabilities and systems across multiple geographies, as our employees are based in over 15 different countries globally (and growing).
This role demands exceptional leadership and communication skills, and the ability to bring a positive, servant-leader mindset to foster a collaborative atmosphere as you manage multiple projects with agility to help lead the agency as we scale through a period of extensive growth.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced People, HR, and/or Talent leader at the Director level or above, who has direct hands-on successful experience in leading people functions for a small/midsize company or agency, with direct involvement in evolving a workforce from around 100 staff to over 500 employees.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the people, talent and culture initiatives for the company
-Manage the HR professionals in AZDS’ different regions of USA, EU and LATM
-Own and manage the annual employee goal-setting and performance review process
-Identify opportunities to evolve the company’s organizational structure for optimum effect, and lead organizational change for implementation and adoption
-Develop strategies to attract high-potential talent and manage company recruiting efforts
-Develop programming to grow and develop the existing internal talent to drive performance, development and ultimately retention
-Create processes to effectively equip managers throughout the organization to coach and develop their employees, with regularly recurring feedback and documentation
-Create and lead programs dedicated to continually evolving the employee experience
-Identify and own the ideal tools and systems necessary to provide the most streamlined and effective management of the company’s human resources functions
-Oversee the company’s payroll and benefits administration
-Ensure compliance with localized government regulations and laws as related to employment
-Ultimately own the employee Total Rewards experience, tying employee performance, compensation, benefits and rewards to accomplishment of individual, departmental and company goals and performance.
Essential Experience:
-6-10 years of proven success in leading a People / Human Resources function at a rapidly scaling company (tech start-up and/or agency a plus)
-Experience crafting and deploying people programs in a highly-collaborative, hands-on environment
-Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
-Experience leveraging people management and benefits tools and systems such as PeopleForce, Deel, Gusto, etc.
-Prior experience of driving and encouraging a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace culture that recognizes, embraces and celebrates teams of diverse backgrounds and cultures
-Experience managing Total Rewards programs and owning all touchpoints of the employee engagement lifecycle
-Experience implementing standardized processes and initiatives with matrixed teams across different geographies

Compensation and Benefits:
● Competitive salary based on experience
● Flexible time off policy – no set limit per employee - use days off as you need
● Hybrid work opportunity with 50% of work days able to be worked remotely or Remote option 70+ miles outside of Denver, CO

The estimated salary range for this role is $100-160k, depending on experience, with an additional annual bonus opportunity.
