What You'll Do
As the HR Senior Manager you will be overseeing our London office, and you will be a pivotal member of our broader LAB HR team, ensuring state-of-the art HR advice, fostering a cohesive and compliant employee experience, and championing a high-performing, people-first culture. Reporting to the HR Senior Director and collaborating closely with the broader HR (Senior) Managers in Amsterdam and Brussels, your work will directly contribute to shaping an engaging workplace where employees feel valued, connected, and supported. By ensuring HR practices meet operational demands and enhance the employee experience, you will play a key role in advancing our organizational culture.
Your role will involve (but not be limited too):
HR Advisory
- Provide expert advice to LON leadership, Talent Business Partners, and managers on HR policies, practices, legal compliance, and risk mitigation.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for complex employee relations matters within London and broader LAB, offering strategic guidance and resolution strategies.
- Handle sensitive employee issues, workplace conflicts, grievances, and communications to foster a positive, engaged culture.
Policies & Practices
- Develop, implement, and refine HR strategies, policies, and practices to align with organizational goals and market best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws while adapting policies to evolving regulations and business needs.
HR Change Management
- Lead and execute complex HR change initiatives and cross-functional projects at LAB level.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, employee satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with cross-departmental colleagues to understand their needs and provide strategic HR solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, driving solutions that align HR initiatives with broader business objectives.
Team Leadership and Engagement
- Manage London-based HR Managers while partnering with broader HR team members across LAB.
- Work in close collaboration with the HR Senior Director to set broader priorities and coordinate the division of work across the London and broader LAB team to maximize efficiency and impact.
- Fosters a culture of trust, innovation, and open communication within the broader LAB HR team.

What You'll Bring
- A Master’s degree (required); advanced degrees or certifications in HR are a plus.
- 10+ years of HR experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional employment and labour laws.
- Proven expertise in general HR functions and/or business partnering, with a track record of driving impactful initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, as well as experience with HR systems (WorkDay preferred).
- Fluency in English is essential.
