What you'll do:
The candidate talent pool in the veterinary industry across the UK and overseas is small, and we need to understand the market and engaging with our future talent, ahead of a vacancy arising. We need every interaction a potential candidate & candidate has with us to be a positive one and we need to build rich, active talent pools for immediate and future requirements.
In the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing market insights to your recruitment manager and tasked with building quality, engaged talent pools. You'll become an expert in your area, and you'll build strong relationships with people within the veterinary industry. Your focus will be specifically on candidate engagement, screening and experience.
You will use a variety of methods to proactively source and engage candidates, to build our talent pool for the future.
Your nature will be inquisitive, and you'll enjoy talking to people and bringing to life for them, why CVS is a great place to work.
You'll also maintain accurate and up to date records and will be efficient in using our recruitment technology and tools. Using social media frequently to market our brand and to connect with people outside of our organisation.
Skills and experience you'll need:
- Proven experience in recruitment sourcing or talent acquisition, including talent pool building.
- Familiarity with various sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).
- Proficient in using ATS and recruitment software.
- Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing strategies for talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong networking abilities and a proactive approach to building relationships.
- Ability to analyse sourcing data and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about talent acquisition and staying current with industry trends.
