We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our dynamic agency. This role combines strategic human resources management and operational tasks to ensure smooth business functioning and employee satisfaction. You'll closely collaborate with the Group People & Culture team to advance and facilitate group wide People & Culture initiatives and policies.
Your responsibilities encompass the full employee life-cycle for the UK team – from recruitment, onboarding, development and enhancing the employee experience, to dealing with any disciplinary/ grievance matters and offboarding. You'll help lead all things HR, team activities, and office management.

WHAT YOU DO
Human Resources Management
- Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
- Regularly review and update HR policies to ensure alignment with UK employment law and overall business objectives.
- Oversee full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding.
- Manage performance appraisal process and promote a high-performance culture.
- Administer UK payroll and benefits systems.
- Ensure compliance with UK immigration and employment laws and regulations when hiring, offboarding and managing and resolving grievance and employment relation issues.
- Maintain accurate employee records and keep HR information system (HRIS) up to date.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement and identify training needs.
- Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.
- Grow meaningful relationships with the team on all levels and become trusted advisor for Senior Management.
Operational Management
- Oversee office management and workplace safety.
- Manage landlord and vendor relationships and contracts where applicable.
- Support IT team with equipment set-up and allocation.
- Provide support to the Group finance team for reporting purposes and keep overview of operational UK supplier invoices to ensure prompt processing.
- Support change management initiatives by being a trusted and vital intersection between senior management and the team.
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum 6+ years working in similar roles. Proven experience in the creative agencies ideal but not essential.
- Recognised by previous teams as a hands-on, trusted and stabilising influencer.
- Eye for detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment & immigration laws, best practice, MS Office and HRIS, and a keen interest in HR metrics.
- Open to continuous learning and development.
- Outgoing communicator who presents well and is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experienced mitigator and conflict manager.
- You take ownership of deliverables, managing tasks independently through efficient prioritisation.
- You are always approachable and have a good-natured service attitude.
- You respond quickly and remain calm under pressure.
- CIPD qualification Level 5 desirable.
