Fractional CEO
Location: Midlands
Salary: £800 - £1000 (day rate)
Hours: Part-time (3 days a week) Monday-Friday
The Role:
As our client continue to grow and evolve, they are seeking an exceptional CEO to have the key leadership role in the organisation and will be responsible to and work with the Board to set the Business Plan, Culture, and Values for the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Board to set the strategic direction of the company, planning and implementing long-term business strategies to achieve the company's objectives, whilst instilling a modern approach to leadership and customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Providing strategic, operational and professional business and commercial advice to the Housing Association.
- Working with the Board and the executive team to devise business plan and having responsibility for successful implementation and delivery of the objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety for their tenants and financial viability for the business.
- Identifying risks areas, ensuring these risks are assessed, mediated where necessary and action plans put in place to reduce them to manageable levels. Report priority and unmanageable risks to the Board.
- Ensuring the Board has the right balance of skills to ensure they are confident and effective in their role and understand their remit.
- Responsible for all development activities ensuring that any growth targets are met, and future growth is appraised in accordance with agreed parameters.
- Working with the executive team to design and implement robust operating processes, and control systems to drive the business forward operationally, reporting on business plan progress, quality, compliance with Regulatory Standards, KPls and financial performance.
- Overseeing customer engagement activities, including satisfaction surveys, which provide customers with mechanisms to give feedback and suggestions regarding services.
- Lead and manage the staff team in line with best practice and legal obligations, having overall responsibility for Human Resources management including ensuring appropriate support through learning and personal development.
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven track record in a senior management role within the housing, nonprofit and community development sectors is essential.
- Flexibility to navigate changing circumstances and emerging challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse stakeholders, including board members, residents, and community partners.
