Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Internal Communications Lead to join our global team. In this role you inform, influence, and engage, build trust in the workplace, improve knowledge sharing, empower employees, and create a synergy between the workforce and our corporate ambition. The Internal Communications Lead will report to the Head of Culture & HR and plays a crucial role across the organization, delivering clear and accessible information across various channels to ensure employees are aligned with the company goals and our vision. This position will foster a sense of belonging and pride among the team by engaging them on the organization’s journey. Collaborating with all functions, the Internal Communications Lead drives impactful initiatives that strengthen our culture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the internal communication plan that aligns with our company goals, incorporates our values, and behaviors to ensure an informed workforce.
- Plan, manage and execute monthly townhalls to promote transparent and engaging company-wide updates.
- Manage, maintain and oversee the intranet to ensure an effective, engaging platform that aligns with the corporate website’s layout look, and feel.
- Facilitate the introduction and onboarding of new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture.
- Collaborate with the workforce to craft and deliver messages that engage, influence and inspire employees at all levels.
- Integrate Pharvaris’ culture across office locations and remote teams, fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Design and drive initiatives that enhance community, belonging, and pride, connecting the workforce with our values and corporate ambition.
- Collaborate with the HR team to support recruitment through effective job postings, engaging LinkedIn content, and impactful employer branding initiatives.
Location
At Pharvaris we promote and enable a flexible hybrid work environment, where our employees choose from where (and to some extent when) they prefer to work. Whilst this is a remote/hybrid role, you need to be in either US (East coast), Netherlands or Switzerland located. For this role we hire talent over location.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years relevant work experience in (internal) communications, employee engagement or similar role, ideally within a biotech, pharmaceutical and/or international environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English. Including excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills to create compelling content across various channels.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in using intranet platforms (SharePoint) content management systems and other digital communication tools.
- Enthusiasm for connecting with people and inspiring others through effective communication.
- Proactive self-starter, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and hybrid working environment.
