Position: People & Culture Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Human Resources

Primary Responsibilities
The People & Culture Coordinator supports and partners with the People & Culture team to implement multi-phased people and culture strategies that are aligned with The ‘Quin House’s goals. This person will be instrumental in supporting the business objectives and culture of positive, ethical, and productive Human Resource practices. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordinating employment efforts, recruiting, hiring, benefits, employee relations, and administration. They energetically support the mission, vision, and values and service oriented philosophy.

- Help execute the planning, organizing, and training necessary to achieve stated responsibilities in employee retention and employee satisfaction

- Successfully and innovatively assists in the implementation of HR strategic objectives and monitors results for world class results
- Partner with the People & Culture team and Director to deliver on The ‘Quin House values by assisting with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, onboarding, training, and the creation high-impact employee engagement experiences
- Champion The ‘Quin House culture to inspire high-performing multi-cultural, multi-generational teams that build The ‘Quin House talent pipeline
- Remain current on trends to evaluate innovative ways for process/practice improvements, workplace enhancements and share best practices
- Participate or represent The ‘Quin House in industry or HR professional associations as requested by the Director of People & Culture
- Be part of the creation of a vibrant environment and ambiance that makes employees feel energized, comfortable, and motivated
- Assist with a culture of positive recognition that exists among employees and across all departments
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR standards/practices to remain compliant with federal/country, state/city laws and audit at least 1x/year incl. but not limited to key areas of employment/labor laws, AAP, safety, immigration, etc.
- Personify the best values of the brand, demonstrating consistently friendly and joyful demeanor, exceptional work ethic, and service delivery for all employees at The ‘Quin House
- Assist in the administrative needs of ongoing recruitment for all ‘Quin House positions
- Ensure meaningful onboarding programs are in place for all new hires
- Ensure internal transfers/promotions are executed to the highest level
- Generate consolidated monthly labor turnover data, ensure GM reviews with Executive Committee with corrective action plans
- Maintain open lines of continuous, interactive communication with employees to ensure engagement
- Partner with Director of Human Resources and department heads on completion of employee reviews
- Promote benefits and perks of working for The ‘Quin House through various communication channels
- Engage in networking events to ensure the most qualified, diverse applicants are attracted and selected for employment and showcases The ‘Quin House as an employer of choice, as requested.
- Understand and abide by all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for The ‘Quin House
- Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
- Oversee and ensure that policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the club, employees and members
- Assume any and all additional tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor, the People & Culture team, or any manager of The ‘Quin

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Position Requirements
Who We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator in the hospitality industry
- Detail oriented professional who is fearless about execution, is creative, can execute a vision and is not afraid to dig into the details
- Consistently friendly, approachable, with an upbeat, engaging, and warm demeanor
- A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management
- Detail oriented, excellent prioritization, time management, organizational and follow up skills
- Demonstrated ability for process excellence and project management
- Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
- Proficient with WORD, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus
- Familiarity with Federal and Massachusetts Employment Law will be helpful
- High school diploma or equivalent
