Our client headquartered in Georgia is seeking an HR Business Partner based at their new manufacturing facility north of Atlanta. The position reports to the Business Operations Manager and offers a collaborative and innovative work environment with career advancement opportunities. The HR Business Partner will oversee hiring and developing workforce and foster a high-performance culture and enhance employee engagement.
The ideal candidate has proven expertise in HR Policies, Procedures, Benefits and Talent Management. Possesses exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service orientation skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR support to achieve organizational goals
- HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws and make recommendations for improvements as needed
- Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies tailored for the aerospace sector
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and communication strategies
- Employee Development: Design and implement training and development programs that enhance employee skills and support career progression within the organization
- Performance Management: Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback and performance reviews while ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends and measure effectiveness of HR initiatives
- Culture and Engagement: Champion initiatives that promote a positive company culture and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels in the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Exposure to HR analytics tools a plus
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, engineering, or related field a plus
Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of HR experience, ideally in aerospace or manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year College or University in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s a plus)
- SHRM-CP, PHR or other Professional HR certification a plus
