As Mongoose continues to evolve, we’re looking for a Senior Talent & People Operations Lead who will help us build the foundational talent framework that will support our growth. In this role, you won’t just be filling seats—you’ll be laying the groundwork for how we find, hire, and develop our people for years to come. What You’ll Do:
Talent Framework Development
- Craft the foundation of our talent strategy: You’ll collaborate directly with the VP of People & Talent to build a scalable talent framework that powers our growth and aligns with our mission.
- Champion DEI: Develop and implement a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion framework that ensures our hiring practices are inclusive and equitable.
- Set the standard for interviewing: Lead the development of interviewing competencies and skills-based assessments to ensure our hiring process is sharp, efficient, and aligned with our values.
- Elevate our managers: Create manager training programs that give our leadership teams the tools to hire, develop, and lead their teams with confidence.
Recruiting
- Own the entire recruiting process: From writing job descriptions to closing top-tier candidates, you’ll lead the charge in finding the talent that will drive Mongoose forward.
- Collaborate closely with leadership: Partner with hiring managers to understand their team’s needs and find the perfect match for every role.
- Innovative sourcing: Get creative with how you find talent—whether it's through networks, referrals, or new sourcing strategies—you know where to look and how to attract the best.
- Provide a stellar candidate experience: Every interaction counts. You’ll ensure candidates are treated to a seamless, engaging, and welcoming process, from the first hello to onboarding.
People Operations
- Seamless onboarding: Help build an onboarding process that sets new hires up for success and makes them feel like part of the team from day one.
- Drive culture and engagement: Work on initiatives that strengthen our culture, boost employee engagement, and create a positive, people-first workplace.
- Enhance HR policies: Collaborate with the People Ops team to refine and implement HR policies that align with our mission and support the team’s growth.
Make Your Mark

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Passion for Building: You thrive on creating infrastructure where none exists. You love the challenge of building systems, processes, and best practices from the ground up and take pride in establishing a foundation for long-term success.
- Recruiting Expertise: 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly in GTM and tech roles, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment. You’re committed to finding the right talent and ensuring every hire is supported to thrive.
- People Ops Enthusiast: You have experience or a strong interest in People Ops and are excited to contribute to areas like onboarding, employee engagement, and HR policy development.
- Collaborative Relationship Builder: You’re great at building trust with hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working across teams to create positive outcomes.
- Adaptable and Resilient: You embrace change, excel in fast-moving environments, and continuously look for ways to grow and learn.
- Data-Informed Decision Maker: You leverage data and metrics to inform your approach, driving improvements and optimizing processes along the way.
- Teacher and Coach: You don’t just execute—you teach. You’re excited to coach and mentor teams on what good recruiting looks like, helping establish best practices across the organization.

The base salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 and with eligibility for a company bonus program.
