Role Purpose
As the Head of Flex Resourcing, you will be fully responsibility for the growth and delivery of the Flex Resourcing offering within Cognia Law.
You will be the ideal candidate for this role if you are highly organised, results-orientated, entrepreneurial self-starter with proven success in professional services, ideally legal resourcing.
In this role, you will develop and execute a clear strategy for growing new clients, markets and the flex resourcing pool. You'll lead the team to new heights ensuring our clients regularly receive exceptional service.
Role Responsibilities
Scoping, matching and closing placements (55%)
- Act as a trusted advisor, shaping Flex resourcing solutions to meet client needs and crafting compelling candidate submissions
- Plan, organise, and manage multiple resourcing assignments simultaneously, ensuring tight deadlines are met
- Engage in proactive stakeholder management, gathering feedback to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction
Flex resourcing growth and client management (20%)
- Use your network and collaborate with the Cognia business development team to grow the Flex Resourcing client base
- Focus on client growth across legal, financial services, and corporate sectors while managing and nurturing existing client relationships
- Engage in proactive stakeholder management, gathering feedback to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction
Team and resource management (15%)
- Lead and mentor the resourcing team, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery
- Optimise the internal processes to enhance efficiency and maintain operational excellence
- Collaborate with talent partners to ensure sourcing of the most suitable candidates based on client specifications
Business development (10%)
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop strategies for new market opportunities and drive growth in the resourcing offering
- Lead initiatives to expand the resourcing pool and explore untapped client sectors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in managing resourcing and talent acquisition, ideally within the legal, corporate, or financial sectors
- Demonstrable ability to profitably grow a business division.
- Experience in working in a ALSP or law firm flex resourcing service environment is highly desirable
- Proven success in managing and growing client relationships
- Attention to detail with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently under tight deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills and command of the English language, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
