The Role:
We are seeking an innovative Human Resources Manager to join our team in Hong Kong and Macau. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is crucial in aligning our HR strategies with business goals across both L'Occitane En Provence and Melvita. What you will do:
Strategic HR Management:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and our B-Corp mission.
- Provide innovative HR solutions that encourage a culture of experimentation and growth.
Multi-Brand Oversight:
- Manage HR functions across L'Occitane En Provence and Melvita, ensuring alignment with brand values and fostering an inclusive culture.
- Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing between brand teams to drive creativity and innovation.
Talent Management:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training programs for Beauty Advisors and the office team, focusing on attracting diverse talent with unique perspectives.
- Implement performance management systems that encourage open dialogue and constructive feedback.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, fostering a positive work environment where every voice is heard.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts, ensuring a harmonious and open workplace.
Feedback Culture:
- Champion a feedback culture by consistently gathering insights from Beauty Advisors and the office team to enhance our work environment and brand experience.
- Conduct regular employee surveys to gather diverse opinions and inform HR initiatives aimed at fostering inclusivity and satisfaction.
Organizational Development:
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, focusing on innovative approaches that resonate with our team.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform strategic decisions that reflect our commitment to a diverse and dynamic workplace.
Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures that reflect our core values and support a culture of openness and collaboration.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in HR, preferably within the beauty or retail industry, but we also value diverse experiences and fresh perspectives.
- Strong understanding of talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for fostering a collaborative culture.
- Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment that values creativity and innovation.
