About the Role:
The Senior Manager, People Business Partner will support the Consumer Revenue organisation & Editorial function as it relates to People initiatives, strategies and programs to help drive business results. The Senior Manager, People Business Partner will deliver operational, strategic and consultative partnership to internal client groups. Will partner closely with HR COEs, and business leaders to drive initiatives in organisational design, talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, employee engagement, and change management. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and problem-solve anything that comes their way.
Responsibilities:
- Build effective and productive working relationships with business leaders, internal stakeholders and clients at all levels of the organisation
- Partner/collaborate with various stakeholders across Conde Nast to align and execute HR strategies in support of business initiatives
- Oversee effective performance management across the team; continually act as performance improvement consultant
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and hire the best talent into the organisation
- Facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues including those with complex, multi-step solutions, investigations, etc. including organisational and structural changes
- Proactively identify Talent Management and Learning and Development gaps; partner with the Talent Management COE to propose and implement solutions
- Work with business leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities
- Act as an employee advocate and be a champion of our culture, standards and practices
- Act as a key member of the People function, taking on responsibility and also participating in broader Global People initiatives as appropriate
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across the People function, globally, to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Own and work closely with cross-functional partners and COEs on important matters such as compensation, performance and talent, L&D, People Operations, etc.
- Provide interpretation of HR policies, practices and procedures to employees and managers
- Review and analyse data, identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and engagement
Qualifications:
Master / Post Graduation in Human Resources from a Reputed University
