Role Introduction
Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager – Service Delivery (Inflight)
The jobholder involves participating in the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies, as well as supporting (and occasionally leading) the assessment and selection processes for Flight Attendants.
This position offers a fixed-term contract until 31 Dec 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Assistant Manager, Specialist Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Officers
- Drive a commercially focused operation, hitting both individual and team induction fulfilment and candidate quality targets
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process with a focus on driving efficiencies and improvements, utilising technology, tools, and data
- Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process and proactively follow up with the team to mitigate
- Lead and support special recruiting projects and initiatives to ensure business needs are met
- Lead day-to-day operations for Talent Acquisition with responsibility for leading and coaching the team and supporting performance appraisal as needed.
- Work closely with the People team to develop a Talent Acquisition dashboard by providing business requirements and subject matter expert knowledge
- Conduct interviews and assessments for Flight Attendants across multiple geographical locations
- Manage overseas events process, ensuring correct local legislation is followed, and events are structured in a cost-effective and output-focused manner
- Ensure even allocation of daily workload tasks are completed, such as HireVue reviews and pipeline management
- Liaise with AVMED (Aviation Medical) to ensure the smooth running on the pre-employment medical check process
- Partner with the other TA and PPL teams if applicable, to develop, implement, document, and ensure adherence to Talent Acquisition and related policies, practices, and procedures
- Deputise for TA Manager as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in aviation and with at least 1 year of people management experience
- Experience in training, coaching and developing more junior colleagues
- Proficient in a full suite of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience running competency-based interviews and using other assessment and selection tools
- Be able to work independently and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
