Roles and Responsibilities
- Support full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, HR advisory, employee relations, performance management, employee development and exit management for Japan employees
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles and integration to the company’s culture and values
- Identify training needs for employees and leaders based on business needs. Develop learning and development (L&D) programs for employees to support business growth.
- Attract top talent for talent acquisition, oversee hiring processes, and collaborate with leadership to identify and fulfill recruitment needs.
- Foster "Outrageously Extraordinary" company culture and sense of belonging to increase employee engagement and satisfaction
- Oversees the day-to-day HR Operations and acts as the first point of contact for employees to answer day-to-day HR-related questions and provide advice when needed.
- Support in the implementation of global, functional, and regional HR initiatives across APAC regions
- Build strong relationships and engagement with employees and leaders at all levels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- At least 10 years' working experience in human resources functions as a generalist
- Experience in recruiting in with good understanding of the various sourcing platforms and identifying learning & development needs for the employees.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced growth environment
- Resourceful, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of local labour laws, HR principles and practice of Japan
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to excel in a multi-cultural environment
