Job Title: People Experience Advisor
Reports To: People Experience Manager
Location: Battersea, London, Hybrid 3 days a week in the office
What You’ll Do:
The People Experience Advisor will be instrumental in providing local expert HR support to our UK
business. This role will be the first point of contact for in-country advice about employee lifecycle
moments such as onboarding, offboarding, probations, maternity sickness absence etc. You will
champion our unique Outrageously Extraordinary culture and mindset, through the support of both
team members and managers throughout the employee journey. You’ll be pivotal in driving the
employee experience, specifically:
- First point of contact for in-country advice about employee lifecycle moments such as
onboarding, offboarding, probations, maternity sickness absence etc, escalating to the Senior
People Experience (HR) Manager or functional HR Business Partner when needed
- Work with the EMEA payroll, benefits & administration teams to ensure HR administration,
benefits, policies and processes are compliant with local laws and regulations, whilst also
conveying the SharkNinja’s culture and mindset.
- Support the Senior People Experience (HR) Manager with the management of employee
relation matters by providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies,
procedures, and local employment laws specific to the UK. Conduct informal and formal
investigations or processes, in a compliant, consistent and fair manner.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that underpin our culture and that are tailored to the
regional needs of the UK teams. Organise and participate in regional employee events and
activities.
- Employee onboarding, ensuring all new team members understand the SN mindset and how we
operate in order to accelerate their impact on the business.
- Development of line manager capability through coaching, mentoring and other management
development capabilities.
What You’ll Bring
- Ideally, up to 5 Years of Experience in a similar role within a regional office of a large
organisation.
- Knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
