MacGregor Black is partnering with a Leading Food Business on the search for a Senior People and Culture Business Partner. This is a perm role based in Cambridgeshire.

Purpose of the role

We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to lead the HR function across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a senior operational leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering people strategies that drive business performance, employee engagement, and a high-performing culture. We are looking for a strategic partner and change agent, building and delivering the people capability needed to meet the requirements of our customers, our people, and our business.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and support operational excellence.
Oversee the HR function across multiple manufacturing locations, ensuring consistency and alignment of people practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Lead and develop a large, geographically dispersed HR team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Champion a people-centric culture, driving initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention.
Lead change initiatives and support leadership teams in navigating organisational transformation.
Ensure HR policies, processes, and systems are efficient, scalable, and legally compliant.
Oversee performance management frameworks and reward strategies to drive motivation and productivity.
Collaborate with HSE teams to promote a safe and inclusive working environment.

What We're looking for?

Proven experience in a senior HR/People & Culture leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong track record of multi-site HR management with the ability to lead a large, dispersed team.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute people strategies that align with business objectives.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
In-depth knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
Experience driving cultural change, engagement, and leadership development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
A degree in HR, Business, or a related field; CIPD or equivalent qualification preferred.

Salary up to £80K + benefits.
