Strategic HR Business Partner

Location : Huntingdon, PE29 3TN (Hybrid: 1 day per week in the office)

Salary : Up to £59,516 per annum, depending on experience

Contract : Full-time, 37 hours per week, 9-month FTC

Are you an experienced HR Generalist ready to step into a varied and impactful role? My local authority client is looking for a skilled HR Business Partner to join their team on a 9-month FTC.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

Lead on restructures, consultations, and managing relationships with trade unions.
Deliver effective employee relations support, including performance, grievance, and disciplinary management.
Conduct and chair job evaluation panels and oversee organisational development initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leaders to implement strategic workforce planning and HR policies.
Drive organisational change and foster a culture that embodies values of Collaboration, Integrity, Vision, Innovation, and Leadership."

What We’re Looking For

CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
Proven expertise in employee relations , including complex casework and trade union engagement.
Hands-on experience with job evaluation schemes and leading organisational change initiatives.
Strong generalist background with a proactive, collaborative approach.
