Human Resource Manager - Parental Leave Cover
- Fixed-term, full-time, 12-month contract, Monday – Friday
- Based at Auckland City Hospital, Grafton
- Responsible for the Kāhui o te Ihi (Mental Health) Directorate
Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity
Reporting to the People Partnering Lead, the Human Resources Manager supports the end-to-end operational HR advice and services, including the delivery and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and processes. The primary purpose of the role is to provide operational and strategic human resource management advice to a designated Directorate that supports the organization's business plan. (Although this role is based in Grafton, there will be some travel required to Greenlane, Pt Chev, or community sites if that is your designated area you are dealing with).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and strategic HR management advice
- Implement HR strategies, policies, and processes
- Support the organization's business plan
- Travel to various sites as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Preferred experience in the Public Service, working with unions
- 5 years+ knowledge in HR Management
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Previous leadership work experience
- Knowledge of NZ Employment legislation
- Ideally worked within the Health/Medical industry
