About the role:
We have a recent opportunity arise for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our close-knit team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to grow and develop within our reputable company.
As a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, you will manage the recruitment and onboarding processes, support in the review of HR policies and procedures, promote employee engagement efforts, and ensure the HRIS aligns with payroll and legal requirements. Reporting to our National HRM, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR operations and help drive the company’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, oversee HR inbox, manage induction programs, and ensure new hires receive necessary IT equipment and system access.
- Performance Reviews: Manage and track probation and performance reviews.
- Professional Development: Organise training sessions and manage the Cadet Program in collaboration with NHRM and management.
- HRIS Management: Maintain up-to-date employee records, assist with HRIS troubleshooting, and deliver employee reports according to business requirements.
- Policies & Procedures: Support the NHRM with annual policies and procedures reviews, ensuring constant alignment with the legislation and Renascent strategic objectives.
- Employee Benefits & Recognition: Assist with administering employee benefits and the reward/recognition program.
- Offboarding & Administration: Manage the offboarding process and assist with general HR administration tasks.
- HR Reporting: Support the HR function with reporting initiatives to improve business prospects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of HR coordination or administration experience, ideally within the construction industry.
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to stay on top of HR tasks.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with a collaborative approach to fostering positive relationships across teams.
- Clear, articulated communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of current HR legislation, including the NES and Award interpretation.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and a solid understanding of how an HRIS works (preferably ConnX).
