The People Technology team is looking for an HRIS Specialist that is a team player, loves to collaborate, solve problems and is excited by the idea of building out and optimizing HR systems. This role will play an integral part in supporting our People & Culture team, as well as employees and leaders at large, to ensure a great experience using Workday. This is an ideal role for someone looking to grow their career in HRIS/People Technology with ample opportunities for mentorship from the team. The role is based in Austin, Texas and will report directly to the Senior Manager, People Technology and is not eligible for sponsorship at this time.
What You'll Do- Provide front line support for issues raised via Jira ticket or Slack, acting as the liaison between the People Technology team and the broader organization
- Perform business process administration escalations including corrections, rescinds, and reassignments
- Troubleshoot system issues, escalating as appropriate, and follow up with the appropriate stakeholder(s) on their resolution
- Create and maintain supervisory and other organization types while ensuring structure integrity and usability
- Maintain and ensure appropriate approvals for security assignments and permissions
- Develop, update, and deliver end user documentation and/or training materials
- Assist the team in configuration, testing, and deployment of various system changes or enhancements
- Support the team in report management by scheduling, updating or adjusting security group assignments as needed
- Identify and recommend areas to simplify, standardize, and improve Workday setup
Who You Are- Background in People Team or Operations with at least 1-2 years of experience in HRIS administration
- Strong working knowledge of Workday business process framework
- Familiarity with Workday reports, notifications, alerts, and EIB templates
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Excellent organization skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
- Sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information

Base Compensation Range: $66,000 - $80,000. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
