Job Title: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & HR Business Partner (Mid-Level)

Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR leader to drive talent acquisition, talent management, and HR business partnering across our growing organization. This role will be instrumental in shaping our workforce strategy, leading recruitment efforts—particularly for retail stores (General Managers and customer service roles)—while also supporting corporate hiring initiatives. Beyond hiring, this individual will develop and execute talent retention strategies, leadership development programs, and internal communications that strengthen company culture and employee engagement.
As a key advisor to both corporate leadership and franchise owners, this role will establish structured hiring processes, EVP (Employee Value Proposition) strategies, and data-driven talent initiatives to build high-performing teams across all levels. Additionally, they will lead internal people-related communications, ensuring that organizational updates, promotions, and cultural initiatives are clearly and effectively conveyed to employees. The ideal candidate has a blend of corporate and high-volume retail/franchise hiring experience, with a blend of strategic talent management and HR business partnering, along with a passion for building strong teams, and the ability to drive business impact through strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring Strategy (50%)
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for both corporate and franchise/retail roles, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent across all levels
- Partner with hiring managers across the organization to define hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and implement structured hiring processes
- Develop and refine hiring playbooks, structured interviewing scorecards, and talent acquisition scorecards to drive consistency and improve hiring decisions
- Increase retention by implementing data-driven hiring strategies that identify top talent and reduce turnover
- Manage vendor relationships, recruiting tools, and hiring budgets to ensure cost-effective and high-quality talent acquisition
- Lead employer branding and EVP (Employee Value Proposition) initiatives to attract top talent across corporate and retail roles
- Analyze hiring data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvements in the hiring process
Talent Management & Retention (30%)
- Develop and execute talent retention strategies, particularly for high-turnover retail roles
- Implement career development programs, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives for both corporate and retail employees
- Design and deliver engaging and meaningful training programs for managers on hiring best practices, employee engagement, and performance management
- Create structured onboarding programs that enhance new hire success and improve retention.
- Create and deliver meaningful presentations along with strong expertise in executive presentation skills and ability to present to large and small scale audiences
- Track key talent metrics (retention, promotion rates, engagement) to identify areas for improvement in workforce planning
HR Business Partnering & Leadership Coaching (20%)
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to HR, corporate and franchise owners, providing guidance on talent strategy, workforce planning, and retention
- Coach business leaders on hiring best practices, team development, and retention strategies to improve overall performance
- Lead and facilitate training programs, leadership development workshops, and cultural initiatives to enhance engagement and employee experience
- Drive change management initiatives to support business growth and operational transitions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and best practices
- Lead Internal Communications & People Announcements - Own and execute company-wide messaging for key people-related updates, including new hires, promotions, organizational changes, and cultural initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment with company values
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance employee experience, leadership development, HR effectiveness
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and leadership, to drive impactful programs that improve employee engagement and business outcomes
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- 5-7 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on corporate, franchise, and retail hiring
- Proven track record of hiring and retaining high-performing teams across both corporate and high-volume retail environments
- Experience in EVP creation, hiring playbooks, structured interviewing scorecards, and talent acquisition scorecards
- Strong background in leadership coaching, facilitation, and developing training programs for managers
- Expertise in vendor and budget management for hiring and talent development initiatives
- Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and people analytics tools to drive data-informed talent decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
