Responsibilities
As a member of the People Operations team, and reporting to VP, People Operations this position will lead the execution and management of employee relations strategies, compliance programs, and employee engagement initiatives. This role will operationalize policies and programs developed by the VP People Operations, ensuring consistent implementation across the organization. The Director will focus on enhancing the employee experience through proactive conflict resolution, effective policy enforcement, and targeted engagement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
This role requires:
- Candidates must live in the United States
- 8-10 years of experience in employee relations, engagement, and compliance program management
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience in designing and executing employee engagement, culture, and wellness programs
- Demonstrated success in implementing employee relations strategies and managing compliance programs
- Proven ability to design and lead employee engagement and culture programs
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on operational execution
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR policy implementation
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage programs that enhance employee engagement, culture, and retention
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MA in HR Management, or related field)
- SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification
- Experience in nonprofit or higher education sectors
- A passion for higher education is a plus.
PAY RANGE
$135,000 - $140,000
