Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team. The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, mediate conflicts, and work with management to ensure a positive work environment.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and conduct onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure they feel welcomed and well-integrated into the company culture.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, respond to employee inquiries regarding health, retirement, and other benefits, and support the annual open enrollment process.
- Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisal processes, provide support on performance issues, and maintain records of evaluations and improvement plans.
- Compliance and Policy Administration: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; help maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies.
- HR Reporting and Metrics: Track and report HR metrics, such as turnover, recruitment timelines, and employee engagement; provide insights to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
- HRIS Management: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system, including personal information, job changes, and payroll updates.
- Training and Development: Support training initiatives by coordinating sessions, tracking employee participation, and ensuring continuous learning opportunities.
- Special Projects: Participate in HR projects such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, wellness programs, and employee engagement activities.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required); HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as an HR generalist or specialist.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and best practices, including employment law and compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
