Our client are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced People Manager to join our HR team and lead our efforts in enhancing employee engagement across the organization.
Role Overview As a People Manager focused on Employee Engagement, you will play a critical role in shaping the workplace culture and ensuring our team members feel valued, supported, and motivated. You will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance employee experience, retention, and overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute innovative strategies to improve employee engagement and foster a positive work environment within the healthcare setting.
- Feedback & Recognition: Implement effective feedback mechanisms and recognition programs that empower staff to contribute ideas, share concerns, and feel appreciated for their contributions.
- Wellbeing & Support: Champion initiatives that promote staff well-being, work-life balance, and mental health support, ensuring our employees are equipped to perform at their best.
- Training & Development: Design and deliver programs that provide continuous growth opportunities for our people, from leadership development to skills training.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, HR colleagues, and senior leadership to drive engagement initiatives that align with our organizational values and goals.
- Employee Retention: Monitor and analyse engagement surveys and other feedback tools to track trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance staff retention.
- Culture Development: Be a key advocate for our company culture, ensuring that it reflects our mission, values, and commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a People or HR management role, ideally within the healthcare industry or a people-centric organization.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement best practices, with a passion for building a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement employee engagement strategies and programs that drive measurable results.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, People Management, or a related field.
