About the Team
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR People Partner (HRPP) to provide support across HRBP teams for Tiktok Engineering departments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to design and implement people strategies that drive organizational growth, innovation, and high performance. You will be instrumental in enhancing employee engagement, optimizing performance management, and improving organizational effectiveness. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our R&D teams as they scale, with a focus on continuously refining HR processes and launching new initiatives. As we experience significant growth, this new role presents an exciting opportunity for you to apply your operational expertise and make a meaningful impact on the evolution of our workforce.
To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 4 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time., including analytics, employee relations, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.
Specifically, you will:
- Collect, analyze, and deliver actionable insights from HR data to enhance systems and processes; lead and support system changes to optimize HR operations.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions in alignment with company policies and legal requirements, while acting as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders.
- Oversee documentation for employee mobility and transfers, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
- Support onboarding for new hires and coordinate exit interviews, gathering feedback and analyzing trends to improve retention and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee performance programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals while guiding leaders on performance management and employee development.
- Coordinate HR initiatives across teams (HR, Admin, Regional Employee Feedback, COE) for seamless communication and program implementation.
- Support the planning and execution of talent programs, fostering an engaging and developmental experience for new graduates.
- Provide support for various ad-hoc HR projects and other HR initiatives as needed, ensuring timely and effective execution of these projects in alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Operations or Generalist.
- Proficiency in HR systems, analytics, and performance management tools.
- Experience with employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, particularly in employee relations and mobility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong operational and detail-oriented skills, with a focus on process management and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated success in strategic problem-solving and implementing HR initiatives that enhance business performance.
- Proven experience collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams to drive organizational goals.

Job Information
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $174400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
