Role Title: Marketing & Events Manager
Salary: Up to £60k
Location: London, UK - a mixture of remote and hybrid working (some out of hours working for events)
Scope: Ideally Immediately available - Full Time - FTC (12 months maternity cover)

The Role
We're looking for a driven, enthusiastic individual to join our small communications and marketing team, helping to raise the profile of Public Digital both in the UK and overseas. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering our programme of events, as well as working on marketing initiatives promoting our work and our people.
- Designing and delivering our self-managed external events programme, including sourcing venues, liaising with suppliers, photographers, videographers, A/V etc.
- Horizon scanning of external events in our sectors and advising on strategic priorities for attendance
- Maximising brand impact, exploring avenues for sponsorship and promotion with an eye on delivering value for money and return on investment
- Using social media channels and digital marketing to effectively promote both our events and our involvement in other organisations' events.
- Utilising social media and marketing platforms to run effective marketing campaigns, using audience targeting and measurement.
- Working with colleagues to identify their marketing requirements, and advising on channels and events which will support their business strategies.
- Managing our digital asset management library, commissioning photography and video assets.
Requirements
You
You will be experienced in marketing communications and end-to-end events management and comfortable in working in fast paced environments and juggling multiple priorities. You'll understand what makes a great event and be able to measure the effectiveness of your campaigns to demonstrate return on investment.
- Highly organised
- Experience of managing and delivering successful events, including logistics, branded merchandise, managing sponsorship and speaking opportunities
- Agency and supplier management
- Experienced in delivering impactful digital campaigns, using email marketing, landing pages, CRMs (preferably Hubspot)
- Keen eye for design and photography, and ability to direct designers in working to a brief.
