Our Enterprise-tier digital subscription business is key to growth, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Propositions Manager to expand this area.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Insights:
- Conduct research to understand client needs, market trends, and audience segments
- Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Assess market gaps and emerging needs to propose new offerings
- Proposition Development:
- Design and refine subscription propositions for key sectors like government, corporate, and education including clear and differentiated value propositions
- Identify and develop potential product and feature enhancements and growth opportunities
- Work closely with colleagues in finance and the business to create business cases for new propositions and prioritise delivery
- Support the development of complementary strategies for content Syndication and Licensing partnerships
- Pricing Strategy:
- Develop package pricing and models to support sales and ensure competitive positioning
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Coordinate internal teams to launch new packages or features
- Develop and execute detailed go-to-market plans with timelines and key milestones
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure effective launches and gather feedback for improvements
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Align with internal teams (e.g., sales, editorial, product, data) on client requirements and features
- Work with marketing to create campaigns driving awareness and demand
- Performance Tracking:
- Define key success metrics and monitor proposition performance, using data to drive improvements
- Report on metrics, including revenue growth and customer acquisition
Desired Skills & Attributes
- Experience:
- Proven success in senior B2B propositions, product marketing, or subscription management roles
- Background in media, technology, or SaaS with subscription-based model experience
- Experience in a strategy role is advantageous for market and opportunity analysis
- Skills:
- Effective in matrix organizations, relationship-building, virtual team leadership, and influencing
- Highly effective at quantitative and qualitative market intelligence gathering
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset to translate data into actionable strategies
