About The Role
As the People & Culture Manager at WHC, you will be the cornerstone of our HR operations, driving and overseeing all aspects with dedication and a vision. In this role, your people-centric approach and well-crafted processes will be key to maximizing our team"s potential and driving WHC's success. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Administration, you will lead our HR functions and ensure that our HR initiatives are innovative, robust, and aligned with our business objectives. You will have a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) reporting to you, enhancing our global teams' capabilities and impact. This role offers opportunities for career growth, allowing you to shape WHC's HR strategy and advance into more senior positions as the organization expands.
What you"ll do
- Drive and oversee HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training & development, internal communications, and compliance.
- Design and implement innovative HR core processes that support business goals and promote a positive organizational culture.
- Foster collaboration and growth by mentoring and leading the HRBP and other team members.
- Collaborate with and support other departments to integrate HR functions seamlessly with overall business operations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with industry best practices.
- Manage employee benefits, compensation, and job satisfaction programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Leverage HR analytics tools to assess workforce trends, optimize talent management, and improve employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field; CRHA a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, including 2+ years in an HR leadership capacity; experience in tech or similarly dynamic industries a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to both strategize and manage day-to-day details.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a small team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain trust and relationships with leadership, management, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to handle HR matters with discretion, ethical conduct, and sensitivity.
- Experience designing and implementing HR strategies and processes aligned with business objectives.
- Knowledge of Quebec and Canadian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and employee engagement platforms is a plus.
