About the role and its key responsibilities:
- Talent Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and culture, ensuring we attract top-tier talent across all levels and functions.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of recruiters, ensuring efficient and effective execution of hiring processes, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process, ensuring a diverse candidate pool and equitable hiring practices.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to strengthen the company’s employer brand, ensuring we are positioned as an employer of choice within the entertainment industry.
- Recruitment Operations & Technology: Optimize recruitment processes, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and analytics, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring workflow.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide strategic guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience, from initial outreach through the onboarding process, enhancing the company’s reputation in the industry.
- Market Research & Trends: Stay abreast of talent acquisition trends, industry shifts, and competitor strategies to continually refine and improve recruitment tactics.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment efforts, providing insights and recommendations to leadership on improving recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
About the successful talent:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team of recruiters in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and implement talent strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Technology Savvy: Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment marketing tools. Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
