About The Role
As an early-stage healthcare technology startup, we are seeking an HR Generalist with broad experience in traditional HR competencies who will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the People/HR department with a focus on benefits administration, recruitment, HR policy compliance, employee relations, and other essential HR functions. This position requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and supporting employees and management alike.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to influence communications tools and processes, in-person meetup design and strategy, and various cultural programs to create a fun and productive environment in which we can deliver best-in-class patient results while also building positive and effective relationships among our Season Health team.

This role reports to the General Counsel and will have regular interaction with the Founders and Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and our PEO Rippling, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
- Manage open enrollment periods and questions from employees on their benefits.
HR Policies, Projects & Initiatives
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Support audits and reporting processes related to HR activities and compliance.
- Support HR projects, including employee engagement surveys, off-site planning, and other organizational development programs.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving employee issues, conflicts, or grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a positive work culture and foster effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Support the hiring process, including candidate communication, reference checks, and new hire documentation.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for all new employees.
Performance Management
- Support the performance management process, including tracking performance reviews, goal setting, and providing guidance to managers on feedback delivery.
- Help implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
Other HR Matters
- Work together with your Manager and the Senior Leadership Team to deliver on goals and initiatives relating to people operations or strategy.
About You
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a solid understanding of HR practices and employment law.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and proficiency in Google Workspace, Notion and Slack (or similar platforms). Our PEO is Rippling so experience with Rippling is preferred, but experience and proven ability to adopt new platforms is required.
- Experience developing, drafting and implementing company-wide compliant People policies and programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Experience in a digital healthcare start-up is preferred, but not required. Experience providing HR support to multiple entities under one umbrella or within a Friendly PC structure is also a plus.
- This is a remote role, but you must live and work in the United States.
- Ability to travel (with reasonable advance notice and costs covered) to regular or ad hoc company meetups or meetings from time to time.
Compensation And Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $115,000, plus stock options commensurate with experience
