As we continue to grow our headcount, we're looking for a highly skilled Head of Talent Acquisition with a strong technical recruiting background to lead our Talent Acquisition team and ensure we attract, hire, and retain the best technical and non-technical talent.
Job Overview:
** Must be local to Dallas-Fort Worth **
The Head of Talent Acquisition will play a pivotal role in scaling our workforce during an exciting period of rapid growth. This individual will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition team; building and executing recruitment strategies, and directly driving the recruitment of high-caliber technical and generalist professionals. You will ensure that the company continues to attract top engineering, product, and technical talent while maintaining a high level of operational efficiency and an excellent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, sourcers, and talent acquisition coordinators.
- Set team goals, provide regular feedback, and drive performance to ensure team success.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the Talent Acquisition team.
- Promote continuous learning and development to keep the team at the forefront of recruitment best practices.
Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute innovative recruiting strategies to attract top technical talent (engineering, product, data, etc.) across multiple regions.
- Design and implement scalable recruitment processes to handle high-volume and complex hiring needs.
- Drive the hiring process for senior technical and leadership positions, ensuring alignment with business goals and the organization's culture.
- Utilize a combination of traditional and modern sourcing methods to build and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Be a “hands-on” Talent Manager for key technical roles, and occasionally for non-tech roles when required.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and hiring managers across engineering, product, and other departments to understand hiring needs and provide consultative support throughout the hiring process.
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with hiring teams to ensure alignment on candidate profiles, feedback loops, and recruitment best practices.
- Regularly report on hiring progress, market trends, and team performance to senior leadership.
Candidate Experience and EVP:
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial contact through the offer stage.
- Act as a key representative of the company’s brand, ensuring candidates have a clear understanding of our values, mission, and culture.
- Implement feedback loops with candidates and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the hiring process.
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance our brand and promote our brand
- Build and maintain a strong network of candidates, industry experts, and potential future hires.
Process Optimization & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Continuously evaluate and refine the recruiting process, utilizing technology and analytics to optimize performance and hiring timelines.
- Leverage recruitment data (time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, source of hire, etc.) to identify trends, drive improvements, and inform strategic decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong emphasis on technical recruiting (software engineering, product management, data science, etc.).
- Experience in a leadership role managing a high-performing recruiting team.
- Proven experience building recruitment strategies for high-growth, fast-paced environments, particularly in the tech industry.
- Some international recruiting experience would be highly regarded
Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of technical hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring engineering and product talent.
- Expertise in modern recruiting tools, technologies, and methodologies (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, Boolean search, GitHub, StackOverflow, etc.).
- Strong data analysis skills to make data-driven decisions and continually optimize recruiting performance.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
