Job Description: As an HR Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our human resources framework and culture across our global operations. This role offers a significant opportunity for growth, with responsibilities that include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Management: Lead recruitment strategies to attract top talent in software engineering, AI, robotics, and related tech fields across our international offices. Develop and implement innovative hiring practices to support our company's growth.
- Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations in each country of operation. Oversee core HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and employee relations, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
- HR Programs & Policies: Develop and implement HR programs and policies that drive organizational success and employee satisfaction.
- Performance Management: Develop and manage performance appraisal systems that align with company objectives, driving productivity and accountability.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, foster a positive culture, and align values with organizational objectives.
- Conflict Resolution & Risk Management: Address employee relations issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Strategic HR Planning: Partner with senior management to align HR strategy with business goals, particularly in scaling operations and entering new markets.
- Leadership: Lead the HR team towards achieving organizational goals, with a focus on strategic HR planning and organizational development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably in a tech or startup environment with international operations.
- Onsite: This position will primarily be onsite at the Austin, Texas Headquarters and will periodically be required to travel to our Dallas, Texas office as well.
Skills:
- Proven ability in talent acquisition, especially in tech sectors across various countries
- Analytical skills for data-driven HR decisions (e.g., compensation, people analytics)
- In-depth knowledge of global HR programs (compensation, performance management, leadership development)
- Strong understanding of international labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across different cultures
- Strategic thinking with a track record of HR policy development and execution
- Proven ability to partner across functions and drive HR initiatives
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics.
- Knowledge of performance management systems.
Leadership Qualities:
- Ability to lead, inspire, and develop HR teams in a multinational setting.
- Visionary mindset to foresee and adapt to industry changes globally.
